I've helped fund 18 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's 72 Holes - The Longest Day...
This year I’m taking part in the Cancer Council’s Longest Day golf fundraiser for a deeply personal reason. Our family has been hit hard by cancer — we recently lost my auntie after a brave five-year battle, while my mum is thankfully in remission from the same type of cancer. Watching the strength, resilience, and fight shown by the people you love changes you. It reminds you how important it is to support the organisations doing the work that truly matters.
By taking on this challenge, I’m honouring my auntie, celebrating my mum’s remission, and helping raise funds that go directly into research, prevention, and support for families going through the same battles.
If you’re able to donate, share, or simply send some encouragement, it would mean more than you know. Every contribution helps bring us closer to a future where more families get the chance my mum did — and fewer go through what we did.
Together, let's tee off for a cancer free future.
