I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...

72 holes. One day. One vital cause.

At 30 years old and holding a 17 handicap, I know firsthand that golf is as much a mental test as a physical one. But playing 72 holes of golf in a single day isn’t just about making good swings—it’s about pushing through the fatigue for something much bigger than the game itself.

This will be my second year taking on the Cancer Council’s Longest Day challenge. While last year was about testing my endurance, this year is deeply personal.

Like so many others, cancer has hit close to home for my family. Earlier this year, we lost my grandmother after her long, courageous battle with the disease. My grandmother loved to garden, and my own love for daffodils stemmed directly from her garden - a wonderfully fitting connection to the daffodil, the universal symbol of hope for Cancer Council.

This year, every hole I walk, every swing I take, and every putter I step up to is dedicated to her memory.

Cancer impacts 1 in 2 Australians by the age of 85. By supporting my 72-hole marathon, you are directly helping the Cancer Council fund life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services for those affected when they need it most.

How You Can Help

Whether it’s $10, $50, or $100, every single dollar raised brings us closer to a cancer-free future.

Thank you so much for your generosity, your encouragement, and for joining me in honouring my grandmother. Let’s make every hole count!
