I've helped fund 30 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day
This year I'm taking on the Longest Day for Cancer Council: four rounds of golf, 72 holes, from sunrise to sunset.
Golf has become a real passion of mine over the past year, and I couldn't think of a better way to put that passion to use than by turning it into something that really matters.
Cancer touches so many lives, in so many different ways, and like most people, it’s touched the lives of those around me. That's a big part of why I'm doing this.
I'll be up before dawn and finishing as the sun sets at RACV Healesville. It's going to be a long, tough day, but it's nothing compared to those battling cancer and supporting those they love day in and day out.
Nearly 1 in 2 Australians will face a cancer diagnosis by age 85. Chances are you already know someone on that list, or you will one day. Every dollar raised goes toward research that's changing those odds.
