I've helped fund 14 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.

My father-in-law sadly lost his life to cancer in September 2026 after an extended battle.
He was an impressive man who never complained and took everything in his stride. A great father to his kids, a much loved grandad to his grandkids, and an incredible role model and friend to everyone who knew him.
Unfortunately, cancer is a horrible disease that has impacted the lives of so many of our friends and family. While treatments continue to improve, there is still so much research needed to improve outcomes and, ultimately, find a cure.
So this year I’ll be taking part in the World’s Longest Day, playing 72 holes of golf in a single day to raise funds for cancer research.
It’s going to be a long day on the course, but nothing compared to what those battling cancer and their families go through.
Anything you can donate, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and will help support valuable cancer research.
