I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...

🎗️ I'm Taking on The Longest Day in Memory of My Mum 🧠

Last year, my best mate and I took on The Longest Day. We played 72 holes of golf in one day, through  rain and stifling heat and humidity, walking over 30 kilometers.

But nothing compares to the heartbreak of losing my beautiful mum.

She passed away last year after more than two decades of fighting oligodendroglioma, a rare and relentless form of brain cancer. She was the strongest person I’ve ever known, not because life demanded her bravery, but because she chose it, every day, for us kids. Her courage, her grace, and her love held our family together through years of uncertainty, hospital visits, and quiet moments of hope.

This year, I’m doing it again. Not just for the challenge, but for her.

I’ve set a fundraising goal of $1,500 to support brain cancer research through the Cancer Council. That’s why our team is called Fore the Brain, because every dollar raised helps drive better treatments, support families, and bring hope to those affected.

If you can, please donate. Your support would mean the world to me.

Let’s make every swing count. For Mum, for others like her, and for a future where no one has to say goodbye too soon.
