I've helped fund 0 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
...the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds of golf in one day ( 4 hours per round non- stop ) !
I would love to take part in The Longest Day because cancer is something that has personally affected my family. My grandma has battled cancer, and we are incredibly lucky and grateful that she is still with us today.
Taking part in The Longest Day gives us the opportunity to do something positive for people and families who are going through what we have experienced, especially those who may not be as fortunate as we have been.
Spending a full day playing golf with mates is a small sacrifice compared to what many people affected by cancer go through. We want to challenge ourselves, raise as much money as we can, and help support cancer research, prevention and support services.
For us, it’s not just about playing 72 holes of golf. it’s about doing it for the people who need it most and helping make a difference for families affected by cancer.
