The Longest Day 2024

It's hard to find anyone who hasn't been affected by cancer in one way or another.

In early December 2024 three golfing mates and I participated in the Australian Cancer Council's fundraiser, "The Longest Day", where teams played 36, 54, or even 72 holes of golf in one day to raise donations. A normal round of golf is 18 holes and usually takes about 4 hours to complete.

Our team of Bruce Hall, Lachlan Munday, Rick Stone and myself agreed to play 2 x 18 holes of golf on that day, and we raised over $4,000. Enjoy this video summarising our day on the course. It's soon obvious that only one of our team has a decent golf swing, but that doesn't stop us from having fun for a good cause.

Thank you very much to our generous donors and sponsors. You are wonderful and so much appreciated.

I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...

...the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds of golf in one day!

I'll be testing my skill, strength, and stamina to raise funds for life saving cancer research.

1 in 2 Australians will be affected by cancer by the age of 85, I want to help change this by making every hole count!

Please sponsor me today, because tackling cancer takes all of us.

Together, let's tee off for a cancer free future.
