I've helped fund 0 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
Hey people, Im doing something silly for a good cause
Matt Keygan and I are doing the longest day together in its longest format, 72 holes ...the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds of golf in one day!
Ive been fortunate enough to know a lot of fantastic people that have unfortunately had, the rubbish time of hanging out with cancer with all its various forms.
Some are still here fighting, some have even won and are in remission. Unfortunately not everyone makes it, and though we loose friends and family, we never forget and we can use their memory to encourage us to try to to what we can to help those we still have.
And trying to go round 4 rounds of golf in a day to raise a few dollars for research to that purpose seems like something I can do.
We know life is tight at the moment, but if anyone can spare anything be it in a per hole donation or a lump sum Id really like to achieve my goal.
I'll be testing my skill (or lack thereof), strength, and stamina to raise funds for life saving cancer research.
1 in 2 Australians will be affected by cancer by the age of 85, I want to help change this by making every hole count!
Please sponsor me today, because tackling cancer takes all of us.
Together, let's tee off for a cancer free future.
