I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day for my brother! It’s…

...the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds of golf in one day!

Back in 2014 my brother was Diagnosed with Leukemia and endured 2 years of treatment, in that time we received so much support from the Cancer Council including accommodation, vouchers and other assistance.

Sadly in 2021 our family was hit with a massive loss of a Cousin. Rhianna was just 21 and had been studying Biomedical science when she was taken by a brain tumor. I’ll be wearing a badge and some interesting kits on the day in honor of her.

Earlier this year, our big teddy bear Wayne was taken by pancreatic cancer, he was such a big part of my life and my heart is heavy for my sister as it was her dad. He had a courageous battle and we will all remember him for his strength.

Our family also lost our Pa. In 2004 he passed away after a long battle with throat and stomach cancer. We love him and miss him so much even 21 years later. 

Our family has also been affected but blessed with survival stories from multiple cancers including Melanomas, squamous cell cancers, prostate cancer, breast cancer and bowel cancer which is why this cause is so close to my heart. 

To give back, I'll be testing my skill, strength, and stamina to raise funds for life saving cancer research.
