I've helped fund 16 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.

I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day for my Grandmother

In 2015 cancer took away my grandmother from our family at the young age of 64. She was an inspiring person, someone I looked up to, but more importantly, she was selfless, and full of love.

I will take on the Longest Day challenge to honour my grandmother and the over 1000 women who unfortunately lose their lives to ovarian cancer every year. It will be challenging for me, someone new to the sport, but my struggle is insignificant to the millions of families who feel the physical and psychological struggle of cancer every single day. Together, we can stand united in this shared battle, and your kind donations are one of the best ways to progress toward a future rid of cancer.
