I've helped fund 0 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Longest Day Golf Challenge—three rounds / 54 holes in a single day—to raise funds for life-saving cancer research, prevention programs and support services.
That’s a lot of golf, plenty of questionable shots and probably more time in the rough than I’d like to admit. By the end, my swing may be well below par—even if my scorecard isn’t!
It’ll be a mentally tough day, but it’s nothing compared with what people living with cancer and their families face every day. Cancer affects far too many of us, so I’m hoping to drive some support, putt cancer on the back foot and take a swing at making a real difference.
Every donation counts—so please chip in if you can. Together, we can help Cancer Council continue its vital work and move one shot closer to a future free from cancer
