I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...

...the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds of golf in one day! That’s 72 holes, each round of golf takes about 4 hours, so that’s 16 hours!

Last year in 2024 my dad received a surprise diagnosis of cancer, a squamous cell carcinoma in his throat near his epiglottis. Luckily for us all, it was very responsive to treatment and through some intense radiation therapy and chemotherapy he has made a full recovery and is still with us - but not everyone who is diagnosed with cancer is so lucky.

1 in 2 Aussies will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime - that’s a 50/50 chance that you reading this will yourself be diagnosed at some point in your lifetime.

Let’s support the incredible work that Cancer Council do in terms of prevention, research and support for those who are affected by cancer.

I’m hoping to raise $1000, and I will match every $1 up to this target at the end of my fundraising :)
