I've helped fund 0 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
A few mates, 72 holes, one day and a seriously questionable amount of golf. ⛳
We’ve decided to take on The Longest Golf Day, playing four full rounds of golf in a single day to raise money for the Cancer Council.
There’ll be plenty of sore feet, tired swings, lost balls, terrible decisions and probably a few friendships being tested by the time we reach the final 18 — but it’s all for a cause that means a lot more than whatever ends up on the scorecard.
Like so many people, we’ve all seen the impact cancer can have on friends, families and the people around us. So we thought we’d put ourselves through 72 holes together and try to raise as much money as possible while doing it.
If you can spare a few dollars, we’d genuinely appreciate the support. Every donation helps fund cancer research, prevention programs and support services for Australians affected by cancer.
72 holes. One day. A few very average golfers. One bloody good cause.
Thanks for getting behind us! 🍻⛳
