I've helped fund 18 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
Swinging for Something Bigger Than Golf
This year I’m taking on Cancer Council’s The Longest Day — the ultimate golf challenge of playing three full rounds in a single day (54 holes of determination, endurance, and probably a few lost balls).
I’m doing this in memory of my mother-in-law, whose strength and kindness left a lasting impact on all of us. Cancer took her far too soon, and this is my way of honouring her life while helping others who are still fighting the battle.
I’ll be joining my team, Billy and the Goats, to push through every hole and raise funds for the Cancer Council, supporting life-saving research and care for those affected by cancer.
