I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day To Help raise funds for Cancer Treatment Research
Hello and welcome to our team’s page! This longest day we have teamed up with cancer council to help raise money in support of research for life saving cancer treatments.
The longest Day is a fundraiser where you play four rounds of golf in one day! This is to help raise money to help with the research of cancer treatments. We wish to fundraise $1000 and we’d really appreciate if anyone could help us reach our goal to help people affected by cancer.
Did you know that 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85 and about 1 in 3 people have an immediate family member that has been diagnosed with cancer. Cancer effects everyone whether it’s themselves directly or someone that they know, this has helped motivate us to participate in the longest day and raise funds to help the Cancer Council and their research towards life saving cancer treatment.
