Hi mate, I have had 4 melanoma's removed. The 1st one was in 2009. . The last one was 18 months ago. In that time the advice has gone from there is nothing we can do but cut it out to you have a good chance of beating this if it gets out side the margins. I have a skin check every 6 months with a dermatologist and every time I look in the mirror. I've got a boy who has had 3 moles removed with abnormal plasticity and as you could imagine he has not seen a lot of sun without sunscreen. This is not just the sun exposure but also heredity. . Let me know when it is on next year and i will organise my local club to get involved. Good luck. Jim
