I've helped fund 2 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
This fundraiser is something that means a lot to me personally.
My partner, Josh, and members of his family carry the BRCA2 gene, which means cancer risk is something that has become very close to home for us. It’s made me even more passionate about supporting cancer research, better treatments and, ultimately, finding ways to prevent and cure this disease.
So when the opportunity came up to take on The Longest Day, it felt like the perfect way to do our bit.
Now, I’m definitely not claiming to be the best golfer 😂 but I’m also not terrible, so I’m confident I can hold my own for a few rounds! I’ll give it my absolute best crack, and if a few dodgy swings, sore feet and a very long day on the course can help raise money for such an important cause, I’m all in.
We’re taking on 72 holes of golf in one day to help raise vital funds for cancer research and support, and to help create better outcomes for families affected by cancer.
72 holes. Questionable golf. One very important cause. 💗
Every donation, big or small, helps.
