I've helped fund 36 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.

Cancer doesn't care

After completing the challenge last year and raising a decent amount of money I had decided that I wouldn't take part this year. 
Not because I didn't think it was worthwhile. 
Not because I didn't enjoy it. 
But because I didn't want to ask the same people. 
Family - Friends - work colleagues 
for money again . 
Then something happened  - I got cancer !! 
Puts a sharp point onto what is and is not important. 
If people don't try ans raise money then no money will every be raised. YES i will annoy you this year again with donation requests and you can always say no but the fear of being "a pest" is no longer a valid excuse for me to do nothing .
