I’m taking on Cancer Council’s The Longest Day...
Like many of us, I've had lots of exposure to the sun and to friends or family members who are cancer sufferers. My Grandma (GG to my kids) is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma as a result of complications with skin cancer, and is unable to keep up her regular charitable activities. I thought it was about time I helped contribute as she does.
On the 14th of December I am undertaking the ultimate golfing challenge with 3 mates to complete four rounds of golf in one day at Castle Cove Golf Club. That’s 72 holes!
I’ll be testing my skill, strength and (let's be honest, it's golf) emotional stamina to raise funds for the Cancer Council on behalf of GG.
Because Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, with two in three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70, I want to help change this.
Please sponsor me today, to make every hole count!
Thank you for your generous donation. Together, let’s tee off for a cancer free future.
