Playing golf in the fight against cancer

Most people know I love a game of golf, well tomorrow I will be playing 72 holes of golf as part if Golfs Longest Day, a fundraising campaign in the fight against cancer.
That is 14 hours of golf starting at 5.20am and finishing as the sum goes down.  Back in the day i used to run Ironman triathlons which would take somewhere between 9-11 hours.  Back then I was fit, young and highly focused.  Today the body is older and the idea of walking 45Km in golf shoes, in the heat and having to hit about 340 balls along the way, is a little scary to this aging body. 
If anyone feels inclined to make a donation, that will certainly inspire me to keep going and help an incredible cause.  Play well,

We'll be testing our skill, strength, and stamina to raise funds for Cancer Council.

Because Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, with two in three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70 and we want to help change this.
