We're taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
The Longest Day 72-Hole Challenge: Official Details
We
are excited to announce that our official Cancer Council Longest Day challenge
is locked in!
- Where:
Minnippi Golf Course
- When:
Monday, 9th December
- Cost: $99
per person (Paid on the day)
- Time: From
5am
- Bookings: Via [email protected]
To
ensure we run a highly successful event, all participants will be grouped
together to play on this official day. Minnippi has generously offered a
flat rate of $99 per person, allowing you to play as many holes as
you can from dawn to dusk.
Please
note that hosting your challenge on alternative days is not possible, as
a marathon effort on standard days disturbs the flow of play for regular
golfers. Grouping everyone together on Monday the 9th ensures we have the
dedicated course access we need to smash out our 72 holes.
🛺
Important Note on Carts & Drivers
Because
we are playing a massive number of holes, golf carts will be essential. Please
keep the following club safety rules in mind:
- Age Requirement:
Minnippi's strict policy dictates that all cart drivers must be 18
years or older.
- Licensing: Even
if a participant holds an L or P-plate licence, they cannot legally
drive a cart if they are under 18 due to commercial insurance rules.
- Under-18 Players: Any
participants under 18 are more than welcome to play, but they must ride as
a passenger with an adult (18+) driving the cart.
