I’m taking on Cancer Council’s The Longest Day...

Turning 60 on Christmas Day this year I realise that I have much to be grateful for - wonderful family, friends and good health.

I am really looking forward to seeing you all at the party and will miss those unable to attend.  Lisa and Kellie have been asked by many people regarding gift suggestions and some we know have already locked in some creative ones. 

Please know that gifts are neither needed nor expected.  However for those who are interested, I have come up with a tax deductible one!  For some context, two of our dearest friends are currently  battling cancer, one brain cancer and the other bowel cancer, and we also lost another dear friend in the last 12 months. Many others attending the party have fortunately made a full recovery from having battled cancer in the past. This insidious disease affects us all in some way.

To further acknowledge the luck of my good health,  I am looking to play 72 holes of golf in one day for the next 12 years in support of raising funds for a cancer free future.

This year, I will be participating in the Cancer Councils Longest Day event with 4 rounds of golf on December 16.
