I've helped fund 52 hours of a research assistant’s time to work on life saving cancer research.
I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
As some of you mate have just learned, Katie & our family have again been faced with fighting the most horrible of diseases.
We are doing ok, we have been inundated with love & support, and we are surrounded by good friends & family that are moving mountains to keep our heads well above the water line.
Unfortunately not everyone has this level of support, many people face this challenge needing help they just can’t get.
So if you are looking to help us, and families alike, please donate to the cancer council.
I’m not going to pretend for a second that me playing golf is a “challenge” that I need your help facing… that would be a lie… The Longest Day is a simple means to have conversation, to promote fund raising, to help those who need help, and to fund research to detect these diseases earlier, so perhaps families like ours don’t ever have to say goodbye to sisters/daughters/aunties like we did not so long ago.
