Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, with two in three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70 and I want to help change this.

As a professional athlete I've spent lots of time in the sun and seen both friends and family affected by skin cancer. I want to raise awareness for the issue, especially in us younger people who do think we are a little bullet proof when it comes to the sun. Every time I've had a mole cut out or a biopsy done I've wondered if I have been doing enough to protect my skin, and so far I've gotten lucky and always try to be better at it. But somewhere out there someone isn't as lucky, and that's why I  have signed up for the longest day and the 72 hole challenge.
