I'm taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...

For the second year in a row, four mates and I, will be taking on the Longest Day Golf Challenge where we will be attempting to playing 72 holes of golf in one day at Massey Park Golf Course, to raise money for the Cancer Council. If we get through all 72 holes before sunset, we would have walked 40km’s (even more for those who spend most of their time searching for their ball in the rough!), all whilst carrying a 17kg golf bag on our backs!

Cancer has affected all of us. Personally, I have lost both of my grandfathers to cancer, and my father is a Leukemia survivor. This challenge pales in comparison to fighting a battle against Cancer, but we hope that in taking on this challenge, we can raise $7,500 as a team ($2,500 more than we raised last year), which will be used to fund vital research in the fight against cancer.

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, with two in three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70 and I want to help change this.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated, no matter how small. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible! Together, let's tee off for a cancer free future.
