Thanks to the efforts of the new father Thomas Craig 'Preferred Lie' Davies, we have secured the date of December 8th for our longest day challenge. It is to be held at the Echunga Golf Club in the Adelaide Hills, with Craig, Jack, Vic and Andy to tee of at 6.30 am. Hopefully we have enough time to raise some more funds for cancer research before then, but wish us luck! Now hit the range (and the treadmill) boys!About Us, Our Golf, and motivation
We posted some pics of a few of the rounds from this year (with maybe more to come), to give an idea of the beautiful courses that we have here in Australia, and how lucky we are to be able to get out in nature and pay golf with friends. The ability to be able to do this on a regular basis is a joy and privilege not lost on us. Our group have all had either friends or family affected by cancer, and are extremely grateful of the medical teams that assisted our loved ones at the most challenging of times, and we hope that by raising money we can contribute back.Daisy Cutters Update!
Hello All! Thank you for your very kind donations so far! As mentioned in my email, we are very late to the game this year, however we have a very good reason: Our previously fearless leader Thomas 'Craig' Davies and his beautiful fiancé Sarah were otherwise occupied with bringing their shining light Amara into the world. Now that Amara has arrived safe and sound, we are able to secure a date for our Longest Day Golf challenge to raise money for cancer research. It now looks as if December 8th at Echunga Golf Club is the day! We will be teeing off at 6.30 am.... and likely playing either till dusk or we drop.... Thank you for the support, and more updates to come!We're taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
