Help Us Make a Hole in One for Skin Cancer Research
This December, Adam Boote, Chris Curran and Steve Down of Localsearch will be taking part in The Longest Day at the Ocean Shores Country Club to raise funds for skin cancer with the Cancer Council.
On this day, Adam, Chris and Steve will be playing 72 holes each in a single day — that's a lot of swings! But it's all in the name of raising funds for skin cancer research. There have been more than 17,000 diagnosed cases of skin cancer in Australia this year alone, making up 2.6% of our nation's deaths. These funds are critical in helping better these numbers and raise awareness for what can be done to protect ourselves from Melanoma.
The Longest Day is held on the longest day of the year at the start of summer, so we will be making every effort to protect the team from the sun on the day.
