We Did It!

G'day everyone,

Apologies for the delayed update from our Longest Day Challenge.

I am very pleased to advise you all that we had a very successful day at Royal Bardwell Valley Golf Course...and, it must be said, looked after us very well on the day.

We had our 12 players participate along with some celebrity appearances and shots by Ellie, Matt, Pip and Kellie.

Leading up to the day we were excited and a little anxious about completing 4 rounds in one day but completely enjoyed it...we were on the course for a touch over 12 hours and had some very kind weather conditions on the day.

We ended up raising over $10,600 for the Cancer Council...and as Nathan said " not bad for a bunch of blokes just wanting to hit a few balls, have a laugh and support a mate "

We even had a " hole in one " on the day...Michael Westwood hit a lovely 6 iron, about 140m and straight into the 3rd hole cup, or our 39th hole.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all our donors and supporters who made this a very special day and fund raising event for the Cancer Council.

Hello, 

Well, there's only three sleeps left until we take on this challenge...72 holes of Golf in one day!

Ou team is excited and raring to go.

I am so proud of our fundraising achievements so far...to reach our goal twice is amazing. Every dollar raised will make a huge difference to peoples lives who are directly and indirectly effected by this hideous disease in it's many forms.

So, with this I think we have been a little conservative in our target setting.

With the final push now on to raise valuable money for researc, prevention and support we have set our sights on $10,000

Hello,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us so far....we have been really pumped by the reaction.

We have decided to increase our team goal for fundraising...this will spur us on even more to raise much needed funds for cancer research and support.
