The story...
There isn’t anyone alive who hasn’t felt the heartbreaking effects of the dreaded C word, so any cause big or small to raise awareness, educate the people, benefit those suffering & finding breakthrough treatments and cures is a hole in one!
The longest day challenges us to walk roughly 40+ kms (if we hit it straight) and finish 72 holes over 14 hours of daylight on December 21st.
Some may say ‘what a blessing’ but the dreaded undulations of the National GC in the summer heat & difficult pin placements will make this anything but a walk in the park.
We will keep the socials alive with our 4 round effort over 3 championship courses, but this isn’t about us or our golfing prowess, its about all the special people you think of when you hear the word cancer.
