We're taking on Cancer Council's The Longest Day...
How things will work at Port Kembla...
We're going to do it a bit differently this year in an effort to make the Longest Day as accessible as we can.
Every Monday in November will be available for players looking to do 36 holes with tee times at 7am/11:30 and carts available for both rounds.
The aim is to free up the 7th of December for as many teams looking to complete 54/72 holes as we can.
THE Longest Day: Monday 7th December
T-off will be 5:30am shotgun start
Cart hire will be a one off fee of $40 per cart regardless of whether you participate in November or December however 54/72 hole players will only be able to collect their carts after 7:30am
Please note: Port Kembla Golf Club is proudly participating as an Open Club for The Longest Day, welcoming golfers from well beyond the region who are generously supporting Cancer Council through their fundraising efforts. To help ensure this opportunity remains focused on supporting the community, the club reserves the right to charge applicable green fees to participants who are not actively fundraising as part of the event.
The Longest Day is ...the ultimate golf challenge to complete four rounds of golf in one day!
We'll be welcoming teams at our club to test their skill, strength, and stamina to raise funds for lifesaving cancer research.
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85.
We have signed up as a supporting club to give golfers the chance to play at our course, while raising some much needed funds for the thousands of families affected by cancer each year in Australia.
